cute amy just before getting gowned up for the birth of our fourth. she is an amazing mother and gave birth with a glow about her.
the first hours of ella's life have shown her to be a quiet and patient girl. she is beautiful (in fact, i'm reneging on my charge that all newborns look like drowned rats...)
ella's sibling were certainly enchanted and sweet with her. we filled the birthing room to capacity with their arrival. the kiddos didn't stay long before we decided amy needed more time to rest without little princesses climbing on and loving her.
mom frandsen took the picture here and our battery ran out before we could get her in a still photo. thank you so much, mama, for watching over them and bringing them to the hospital without vaseline in their hair (there's a story that involves stephen, grandpa evans, myself and baby jonny...)
and now to the winners of the guessing contest (those of you who haven't been commenting on our blog lately were unfortunately unable to win the contest...)

yeah! congratulations!!
that's so fun. your family is getting so big now.
paul, it's almost time for you to get a mini-van now... ;)
Way to go Amy! We are in love with her and you.
A Pilot is a mini-van in disguise.
We can't wait to see her in person! So exciting!
Congratulations! Amy is so cute pregnant....man if we could all look like that!
Congratulations! We're so happy things went well!
I love the way Abby and Bekah are looking at her in the picture with all of them. Both of their expressions are so sweet.
My vote is for the Odyssey! I know that the Pilot is much more hip, but we'll try to convert you to the Odyssey, you can't beat the cargo space. ;)
Congratulations! I kept looking for this post yesterday. I hope you're feeling well Amy, and getting sleep while you're in the hospital. And good joy Aunt Pat on getting the girls in cute matching dresses with bows in their hair for the big meeting! That's very much appreciated by a new mom!
Congratulations! Amy looks amazing in that pre-Ella picture.
Wahoo! I think the Vaseline story involved Grandpa Evans, not Grandpa Frandsen. We're excited to come and see baby Ella in a few weeks.
Jonny

Congrats! You are both such amazing parents! We are so happy for you!

Thanks, everyone, for your compliments and well-wishes for us. It has been so fun to have little Ella around... she is really a sweetheart. It is thrilling to be a new mom again.
The kiddos are so sweet with her. It will be a fun house when we get everyone together :)
We're hoping to bring her home tonight... it will be later b/c she has to have some levels drawn before they will let her go home. I can't wait to sleep in my own bed! Perhaps then I'll be able to sleep... a little!
More pictures soon...
Ella is beautifull! Please post more pictures. Amy: you look great too. Congratulations. We love you.
Uncle Ron and Aunt Shauna
