My grandfather died today. He leaves behind him a full life and a legacy for his family. To me, he personifies the word integrity. And for me, he is an example of humility. The world is better in so many small ways because of people like my grandfather. Quiet, humble, and thoughtful--his presence was always calming and welcome. He will always be a welcome presence in my life.

Memories sustain us until the reality of the resurrection returns them. He raised a good man who raised a good daughter who is raising a good family. Thank you.
He was a wonderful man. I have only fond memories of him. He always made me feel welcome and loved--I will really miss him.
