this latest album is a welcome addition to weezer's stable of quirky and lovable songs. those of you listening with kids should hit pause and wait till they've gone to bed...you've been forewarned mother...
it's hard to know why i enjoy rivers cuomo's lyrics so much, but his mix of sarcasm, irony and humor really hits the spot. he draws high school, college, single and married life into small doses of irony, wit and clarity. i don't agree with all he says and he is self-centerd at times to say the least. however, these songs make me laugh and they make me happy. give them a try...

incidentally, i have a policy of not allowing my playlists to turn on automatically (so as not to suprise you at work with beautiful blaring sounds that get you fired for surfing the web when you should be working), but i couldn't turn that setting off with this new playlist so i made an exception for weezer. hope you didn't mind..?
