the girls started out posing in their princess dresses while michael and i played baseball...
things devolved very quickly as the girls dresses came off so they could get into the fray of the game...
then all decency was lost when the wading pool began to fill. this is what happens when amy takes a nap and leaves the kids in paul's care...
is it environmentally unfriendly to use a wading pool? do i care? two questions i came away from on a really refreshing and rejuvenating thursday morning before work...

Ah, the wading pool. Probably the best entertainment investment we in Albuquerque have made this year.
We are actually purchasing a wading pool tonight. Environmentally friendly?? Not sure. I know that I don't care. My kids love it and it provides much needed entertainment on a hot afternoon!
We join the club of non-environmentally friendly parents of kids who own a wading pool. All I can say is they provide hours of entertainment...what parent would trade that?!?

would someone explain to us why a wading pool would be considered environementally unfriendly. we're new to this green thing (not that we would even think of ridding the backyard of our giant wading pool)...
